Our family has lived and fished in Oregon for 70 years. We have had several types of boats and spent thousands of hours sitting in the boats. The seats we had were a wooden bench with a boat cushion. In 1967 Bentley’s started a business of making canopy tops, and chairs for boats, it made fishing a lot more comfortable, especially for the professional guide and his clients. I’ve been a fishing guide in Oregon for twenty years and spend two hundred days a year on the water in my boat fishing for salmon and steelhead. I have had the same set of Bentley’s boat seats for six years, they are comfortable and durable. The seats withstand all weather conditions. High heat exposure in eastern Oregon on the Deschutes River. In the winter on the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers, and a lot of rain at Tillamook Bay. Salt water and salt air have not affected them. I highly recommend Bentley’s boat seats, for long lasting, durable comfortable seating.
